Dubai - Le Meridien Restaurants, Introduction

My husband and I had this conversation about purchasing the 'Gourmet Privilege Programme' with the Le Meridien Restaurants for a bit as his colleague recommended it for its quality food and atmosphere. I, on the other hand, thought it to be a waste of money and unwilling loyalty for once getting the membership, I would have to think of it as one of the first options of eating out. Moreover, we have the Entertainer coupon! 

 

So we decided to first visit one of the restaurants and try it out for ourselves. As a meat lover, the very first choice was Beef Bistro, which I will review in the following posts, and this dining experience helped change my mind. The bill added up to around AED 400-500 and once thinking about it the membership is AED 709, so visiting this restaurant or one equivalent three times will breakeven the cost for this card. Moreover, the Entertainer gives a main+main discount whereas this is 50% off the entire bill (*exceptions for the drinks of 15%).

The location of the restaurants

As can be seen in the image above, I would say the upper side consists of relatively fine dining restaurants, whereas the lower side consists of the casual dining places. It all is a nice walking distance when the weather is friendly.
